The Career Education Center (CEC) Early College is an urban magnet high school located in northwest Denver near I-25 and Speer Boulevard in Denver, Colorado. The semester based curriculum is college preparatory, focusing on career and technology education. All juniors and seniors take their academic classes on the Community College of Denver, (CCD) campus. Through partnerships with CCD and Emily Griffith Technical College, CEC Early College seeks to provide students with an Associate Degree in 5 years by transitioning to those institutions during the junior and senior years.  We award a Denver Public Schools high school diploma after 4 years.

CEC Early College also has part-time students from the Denver metro area who participate in one of the twenty two career classes offered on its Eliot Street campus.  The career classes are an innovative way for high school students to earn academic credits towards a college degree or industry certification while completing DPS high school graduation requirements.  The career classes are taught by industry-trained professionals in a real world environment.  Industry experts serve on each program’s Advisory Committee to ensure industry standards and innovations while providing classroom involvement and field trip experiences for students.
