In the high-tech atmosphere of the Career Education Center classroom and shop you will learn:

  • Domestic engine rebuild
  • Drive train fundamentals
  • Electrical systems
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Tune-up and performance
  • Brake diagnosis and repair
  • Steering and suspension
  • Cooling and heating

Students who complete the course will be knowledgeable in:

  • Brakes
  • Engines
  • Transmissions
  • Electronics
  • Fuel systems
  • Preventative maintenance

Learn a parts department operation including:

  • Inventory management
  • Parts ordering
  • Prepare for ASE Certification tests.

You may study In this program for up to four semesters.
Advanced C E C students have won awards in local and state competitions. Others have earned scholarships to post-graduate technical schools.
Advanced students may become eligible to work outside the classroom in a real operating shop as an intern.
